In this Premier League fixture West Ham United will host Everton.
West Ham are 13th with 37 points. They are safe from the relegation, but their position on the table doesn`t satisfy the board nor the fans. They have been in bad form lately, having beaten only Swansea in the last nine matches. In the last game they played 2:2 with Sunderland away from home. They were leading two times during the game, but Randolph`s mistakes allowed Sunderland to take point. Ayew scored in 5th minute, but Khazri equalized in 26th directly from the corner kick, following a bad reaction from Randolph. Collins gave the visitors another lead in 47th minute, and when it looked like West Ham will take all three points, in 90th minute Borini found a net after another bad reaction from Randolph who let the ball slip from his hands. That saw West Ham`s woes continuing, leaving Bilic on the verge of being sacked. Obiang, Ogbonna, Byram, Antonio, Carroll and Tore are injured, while Noble is suspended.
Everton are 7th with 57 points. They have practically secured Europa League, and Champions League is unreachable realistically. Therefore, they are able to finish the season without any pressure. Despite their situation, they have been putting up some good performances lately followed by good results. in the last game they beat Burnley at home 3:1. They were dominating in every aspect of the game, looking really motivated. They got the lead in 49th minute via Jagielka, but Vokes levelled things up only three minutes later from the penalty. Everton raised their tempo in search for a win, and after couple of good chances, they got their lead in 71st minute. Lukaku scored another one just three minutes later, and the game was over. For Everton, Coleman, Funes Mori and Bolasie are injured, while Lennon and McCarthy are doubtful coming back from injuries.
West Ham are coming into this game after a tough period, and despite being safe, they will want to finish the season as high as possible. Everton don`t have much to play for, but they are looking good and really motivated in every game. It`s tough to call a winner here, since Everton are a better team and West Ham are quite an unpredictable team. Considering situation both teams are in, I think we will see an open game with both sides searching for a win. Everton have a huge attacking potential, having failed to score only once in 2017, but they rarely keep a clean sheet on their trips. West Ham are looking out of sorts defensively, while they had trouble scoring only against the top teams recently. Therefore, both teams should make their mark here, searching for a goal more till the end.
