Norwegian Eliteserien Tromso vs Stromsgodset Tromso sits on 8 place in the league with their 12 points. The team looks inconsistent but lately managed to improve. Their form is interesting because they played well 3 games followed by 3 straight defeats and another 3 games without losing. At Alfheim Stadion they picked up 5 points from 4 games. Again their form is marked with inconsistency as they go from a 3-0 victory to a 0-3 defeat in a week. Last round Tromso grabbed an impressive result. The team managed to get a victory over leaders Rosenborg. Although they were dominated in terms of possession the team kept compact at the back and withstood most of the pressure. Still Rosenborg managed to open the score before 20 minutes into the game. They continued to pass the ball around the pitch trying to stretch Tromso defensive line but instead let Tromso score twice at the end of both halves. Stromsgodset currently occupies 13th place in the league with 9 points just 1 above the danger zone. The team so far has a strong tendency to pick points at home. On the road the team has salvaged just a single point from their 4 games with a 1-1 draw against Sogndal. The other 3 games all finished with a defeat with the team failing to score in all of them. The previous game the team lost at home to Stabaek. The game started well for the visitors. The hosts were having more of the ball but Stabaek created several chances. When Stromsgodset finally managed to equal the game Stabaek hit them. Wonderful individual skill of Tonny Brochmann followed by a shot from outside the area opened the score. The hosts were quick to respond equalizing just after 5 minutes through winger Andersen who scored a free kick. The goal could have been avoided by a better goalkeeper reaction but Mande could not do it. Stabaek did their final blow 10 minutes before the final whistle. This time Brochmann stormed from the right and set a good pass for Omoijuanfo who sent it home for the final 1-2. Tromso may not be very confident at home but they have enough about themselves to manage the threat posed by Stromsgodset. The visitors are terrible away and are not really looking to improve. Last year Tromso took a 2-0 victory at home and lost 1-0 the away game against Stromsgodset. My pick here is home win for 2.35 at Pinnacle. Good Luck!
