Norwegian Eliteserien Odd vs Molde Odd are looking good this season. Still they do the occasional slip up and already had 3 defeats. The team sits on 2nd place 2 points off the top where Rosenborg sits. Odd’s early weeks this season were hard but they managed to gradually improve their performances. After 3 defeats in their first 5 games the team is currently on 4 straight victories 2 of which came with a clean sheet. Last round the team played Haugesund away and took a good 0-2 victory. The star of the game was their right back Espen Ruud who scored 2 goals. First he received a good pass from Riku Riski and with a powerful effort managed to beat the keeper. The second goal was a good direct free kick into the second half. Haugesund also had their chances but a few outstanding saves from Myhra prevented them from scoring. Molde’s form is the opposite of Odd’s. The team started well and gradually fell off. 3 victories in 4 games followed by 5 games without a win. The team comes into this game with 3 straight losses 2 of which came at home. There are definitely some problems in the team. Scoring goals is not really a problem but the team lets too many easy goals. Last round Molde were favourites at home against Sogndal. Still the team fell short and lost the game in front of home crowd. The first half ended without a goal with territorial advantage to Molde. The team missed a few decent chances and later on paid for it. The second half started with a storm. 2 early goals for Sogndal immediately followed by a goal for Molde through Björn Sigurdarson promised an entertaining second half. Still that didn’t happen and Molde settled for the defeat. Odd’s form is on the rise while Molde drops game by game. Molde haven’t won on the road for 4 games and the run looks like it is going to continue. Mypick here is home win for 1.98 at Pinnacle. Good Luck!
