In this NASL fixture Miami FC will host Indy Eleven.
Things looked rosy for the Alessandro Nesta`s team less than a month ago, with Miami winning NASL Spring Season and reaching quarterfinal of the U.S. Open Cup. In the meantime however, Miami were knocked out of the cup by Cincinnati and lost first two game sof the Fall Season. The last defeat was a pretty gutting one. On Sunday they hosted North Carolina looking to bounce back from a Cincinnati loss. It didn`t start well for them, as the visitors took the lead in 27th minute. In 72nd minute North Carolina increased their lead and it lookes liek there is no way back for Miami. However, in the stoppage time Miami managed to score two goals, putting the result back on level terms. And when it seemed like they will salvage a point, Ibeagha scored in 96th minute leaving Miami once again empty-handed. For this game hosts won`t have any noticeable missings.
After finishing 6th in Spring Season, Indy Eleven started the Fall Season with a win against Edmonton. However, Canadians got back to them only a week later by beating them 3:1. That game was pretty straightforward, with all four goals coming between 53rd and 73rd minute. Edmonton went 2:0 up in 59th minute, but Vukovic brought back hope for Indy with a stunning free kick in 66th. However, Corea once again brought visitors a two-goal lead, and with his second goal of the game sealed the victory for Edmonton. Like Miami, Edmonton also will be without important missings, while they will be strengthen by the return of defender Cory Miller who has been out since October.
It seems like two-week break didn`t work out well for Miami, as they suffered three defeats in three games since the restart. They have been the best team in the league, looking wothy of MLS. They even put the motion forward for U.S. Soccer Association to implement relegation and promotion system across the leagues. But if they want to make a case for themselves they need to get back on the right track sooner rather than later. This will be their third home game in a row and it is finally the time to get the three points. Indy Eleven is a solid team, but nothing more and Miami will fancy their chances. Both head-to-head meetings this season went on Miami`s side, and it should be the same here. Miami lost only once at home prior to Cincinnati game, while Indy Eleven recorded only two victories on the road this season (both recently). Miami`s attack has been hard to stop, especially at home where they scored at least two goals in all of their wins. Therefore, even though I think Miami will get the victory here, I will rather go with them scoring at least two goals since I think it should be necessary for them if they want to get three points. And besides that, the odds are slightly better.
