Bayern Munich took a convincing victory in the first round against Olympiakos away from home 3:0 and already showed that the team will be one of the strongest in the competition, while their first position in the group stage shouldn't be questionable at all. Their biggest rivals from Arsenal have already lost the group opener away to Croatia 2:1 against Dinamo and the Bavarians can feel now very comfortable regarding their chances of getting the first position with ease. As for the domestic league, things are going really well with the team coming from 3:0 victory on the road against Mainz and already being alone at the top with seven victories out of seven rounds, having four points more than second placed Dortmund. Their atmosphere is at the greatest possible level and they await this game full of confidence. They continue to miss offensive players Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben (3/1), but the Germans play just well without them too. Central defender Medi Benatia (2/1) is also sidelined together with another stopper Holger Badstuber.
As already said, Dinamo surprised big time in the group opener to win against Arsenal at home 2:1 and no doubt that the teams ambitions got higher now. However, the truth is that they got lucky in that game, as the Gunners stood playing with a man less since 40th minute when Giroud got second yellow card. Despite playing with a man less, they continued having more of the ball possessions, but the Croats were simply too efficient. Dinamo come from a 4:1 victory over Osijek on Friday evening, having three points more than their closest rivals from Hajduk. Defenders Ivo Pinto and Leonardo German Sigali are both struggling with injuries and are doubtful for tonight's game.
There is simply much more of a quality difference here and the Germans should take more than easy three pointer. If they have a good day, this game easily turn out to four-five goals difference victory for them.
