Slovenia started the qualifying path with two victories, but the things already complicated for them in the third round, when the team lost narrowly 1:0 to Italy. Having in mind that they are drawn together with strong u21 teams such as Italy and Serbia, this game comes as a must win for them in case they want to stay competitive for first two positions later on, as they are yet to play against Serbia and Ireland as well. Till now they won at home over Lithuania and Andorra, two arguably weakest links in the group, while the quality differnce was obvious against the Italians who could have earned bigger margin victory than 1:0. Important defender Luka Krajnc (Cagliari) has been moved to play for the senior team and will be missed here.
Italy, on the other side, has only played one game till now, the one already mentioned against Slovenians but having in mind that Serbia and Ireland have won all their matches till now, the things aren't looking any easier for the Italians so far. They'll obviously need to give their best in every single game and no doubt that they are coming into this one in order to confirm their victory last month and approach closer to Serbs and Irish. Visitors have no injury worries for this one and will lineup their best starting eleven. Most notable players are Federico Bernardeschi from Fiorentina, Marco Benassi from Torino, alikes of defenders Daniele Rugani (Juventus) and Alessio Romagnoli from Milan.
As already said, there was huge quality difference in the first leg and with the second having the same importance, I don't see any changed here.
