Manchester United occupies decent 3rd position at the table in English Premier league but they are not playing some great football in this season and I believe that it can be said that they must be more than satisfied with results so far. They will now host West Ham in 15th round, in previous round they divided points with second placed Leicester on the road while before that they played against PSV in 5th round of Champions league group stage at home and also divided points in that match without goals. Manchester United suffered only two defeats in Premier league so far, against Arsenal and Swansea, both on the road, one in Champions league against PSV, also away from home and their last defeat was in 1/8 finals of Capital One Cup, against Middlesbrough and that was their first and only defeat at home in this campaign. They are playing decent football, but to win the title in England they must show more than so far, previous season Manchester United ended at 4th position and they reached Champions league through qualifications, now after five rounds they are at 2nd position in group B, and now must go for a victory in final round against Wolfsburg to reach knockout stage. Manchester must improve their form, they are now coming here after two draws in a row and must give their best to win and take all three points in order to retain their position. Defenders Luke Shaw, Antonio Valencia, Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones, midfielder Ander Herrera and forward Wayne Rooney will miss this match due to injuries while attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard is in doubt but he should be ready for return in the squad.

West Ham on the other side had a decent start of this campaign but they dropped their form and in previous four rounds suffered two defeats and got two draws. They are currently at 8th position at the table with 22 points from previous 14 rounds, they achieved 6 victories, got 4 draws and suffered four defeats. Its interesting that West Ham managed to defeat some of the strongest teams in league, Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal. They also were eliminated from Capital One Cup by Leicester in 1/16 finals after extra time. West Ham showed that they are able to achieve good results in this season but they must try to find consistency in their game and now must try to win here at all costs to get back on the track. They were playing in qualifications for Europa league and in third round were eliminated by Romanian Astra. West Ham have failed to win against Manchester United in previous nine duels, they suffered six defeats and got three draws.l last time they celebrated over Manchester in quarter finals of Capital One Cup five years ago. West Ham is playing good offensive football in this season, they scored 25 goals so far while conceded 21 and must try to improve their defense. Defender Reece Oxsford is in doubt for this match due to a slight injury while forwards Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho and attacking midfielder Dimitri Payet will stay out of action due to injuries.

This will for sure be very interesting match between two very good sides, Manchester must go for a victory to keep up with Leicester and Manchester City and maybe reach higher position after this round, while West Ham is playing much better against strong sides than mediocre in this season, both teams showed decent goal scoring skills and I expect open and interesting match with plenty of chances and both teams to score.
