Very interesting situation in Champions league group F where Bayern Munich already won their placement and Dinamo Zagreb as last placed team really don't have big chances to change something since they are facing with Bayern and probably will fail to progress further in European competitions, while tonight's duel between Olympiakos and Arsenal will decide which of these two teams will reach CL knockout stage. Olympiakos is having advantage of home field and they are well know as very unpleasant hosts. They are currently at 2nd position at the table with nine points, three more than Arsenal and everything except defeat will be positive result for them. Olympiakos achieved three victories so far, two over Dinamo and one against Arsenal and now must try to repeat that result when they celebrated in London 2:3. Olympiakos is in great form, they are at 1st position in Greece with 13 victories out of 13 games, so far they suffered only two defeats in all competitions, both against Bayern Munich. They were playing against Arsenal seven times so far and managed to celebrate four times while suffered three defeats, they played three times at their field and won in every time. All in all Olympiakos is in great shape, they are also playing great at their field and for sure are capable to achieve positive outcome here in front of their fans. Midfielder Giannis Maniatis and goalkeeper Andreas Gianniotis will stay out of action for this match while forward Felipe Pardo, top goal scorer is having problems with slight injury and his appearance is in doubt.
Arsenal on the other hand didn't impressed with their performances in CL in this campaign, they celebrated only two times, against Bayern and Dinamo Zagreb while suffered three defeats and they now have three points less than Olympiakos. They now have imperative to win in order to reach knockout phase and it won't be easy at all now in this match on the road. In English Premier league Arsenal currently occupies 2nd position with two points less than league leaders Leicester while in Capital One Cup were eliminated by lower ranked Sheffield. Arsenal is not in great shape and they are playing in variable form, they now must try to win here at all costs otherwise will fail to reach knockout stage. Arsenal were better in previous duel but they suffered defeat in the end and now must give their best and win to recoup negative results so far and stay in European top competition for the next spring. Arsenal is struggling with injuries from start of this campaign and they now have very long list of injured players, goalkeeper David Ospina, midfielders Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky, Mikel Arteta, Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla and forwards Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanches will all miss this match.
This will for sure be very interesting clash, last time we watched exciting and open match with plenty of goals and I expect that these two sides will once again show great football, Olympiakos now have three points more than Arsenal and draw would be enough for their progress into knockout stage, they are very unpleasant hosts and for sure will give their best to save their net, while Arsenal have imperative to win, it will be very difficult against great Olympiakos but they showed that they can defeat strongest teams in Europe and for sure are able to celebrate here, and for this match I believe that both teams will score.
