Las Palmas had decent previous season, they ended at 4th position in second league and won their promotion in play offs, but they are currently at last position at the table, deep in relegation zone with only ten points from 14 rounds. They now welcoming also newcomers Betis in 15th round of Spanish Primera. This will be very long and hard season for Las Palmas, their main goal is now to keep their Primera status but to achieve that they must improve their performances, so far they scored only 11 goals while conceded 22. So far in this campaign they celebrated only three times, against Sevilla and Real Sociedad at home in Primera and once again against Real Sociedad in first leg of 1/16 finals of the Cup, also at home. In last round they suffered convincing defeat on the road against Gijon 3:1, they must try to consolidate their team and improve their form otherwise they will be relegated. Las Palmas now has only one point less than Malaga, first team above relegation zone and they must try to achieve positive outcome here and achieve third victory in front of their fans in this season. Defenders Pedro Bigas and Angel, midfielders Javi Castellano and Mubarak Wakaso will miss this game due to injuries, defender Aythami is suspended while appearances of defenders Antolin Alcaraz and David Garcia are in doubt.

Betis as also newcomers showed much better performances than their current opponent, Betis occupies 11th position at the table with 19 points. They are in good shape and in last two rounds achieved one narrow victory over Levante while most recently in last round divided points with Celta Vigo at home and meanwhile managed to defeat Gijon in 1st leg of 1/16 finals in Cup at home. Betis showed better performances in matches away from home and in those matches achieved four victories while at home celebrated only once. Betis is favorite here, they showed decent performances in this campaign and their main goal is to keep their position in safe zone so they will now for sure go for a victory here against Las Palmas. In last ten Matches against Las Palmas Betis is without defeat, they celebrated five times and got five draws. They can be satisfied with their results in this campaign and for sure will give their best to continue in the same manner. In last five matches Betis suffered only one defeat against Atletico Madrid at home 0:1 and now will try to continue with their positive results in duels against Las Palmas. Defensive midfielder Didider Digard will be out due to injury, defender Bruno Gonsales and attacking midfielder Dani Ceballos are suspended while defensive midfielder Alfred N'Diaye, goalkeeper Antonio Adan and forward Vincenzo Rennella will probably miss this match due to a minor injuries.

Las Palmas is struggling to find their form in this campaign and if they don't change something in their team and improve their form it will be very hard to avoid relegation, they must try to get back on the track at all costs but it will be very hard against decent Betis, Betis is for sure satisfied with their performances, they are in safe zone and now will try to achieve their 6th victory in this campaign, they are favorites here and I believe that they are closer to a victory here.
