Crystal Palace is at more than decent 5th position at the table in English Premier league which are leading them into Europa league qualifications and now will host Chelsea in 20th round. Crystal Palace ended previous season at 10th position and now can be satisfied with their results, they are coming here after two goalless draws in last two rounds against Swansea and Bournemouth and now are hoping that maybe can earn some points against Cheslsea which is in terrible form in this campaign. They are undefeated in last six rounds, with three victories and three draws managed to climb up to their current position and must try to continue with good results to retain it. Crystal Palace has only 8 point less than league leaders Arsenal, so far they suffered six defeats, got four draws and celebrated nine times, they are playing solid defensive football, in 19 rounds conceded 16 goals while also showed decent attacking skills and scored 23 goals. All in all Crystal Palace had pretty successful first part of this campaign and for sure will give their best to continue with positive results. As for absent players, attacking midfielder Bakary Sako, forwards Kwesi Appiah, Dwight Gayle, Yanick Bolasie and Connoer Wickham will all miss this match due to injuries, midfielder Yohan Cabaye is suspended while defender Damien Delaney is having problems with slight injury and his appearances is in doubt.

Chelsea on the other side is in terrible form, they are coming here after goalless draw against Manchester United in previous round while before that also divided points with Watford. They are at 14th position at the table and as title defenders they can't be satisfied with results. New coach Guus Hiddink will try to consolidate their squad and at least reach upper part of the table. Chelsea achieved only five victories in this campaign, got five draws and suffered nine defeats. They conceded 29 goals in 19 games and have one of the worst defenses in league while also didn't impressed with goal scoring skills, so far scored 23 goals. Chelsea currently has 19 points less than league leaders and it seems that defending of a title is missed cause. Chelsea showed maybe worst performances for the last 15 seasons and they now have a hard task to at least reach position which leading them in Europe for the next season. Their only success in this season is that they managed to reach Champions league knockout stage as 1st placed team in group G. Chelsea has a lot of problems in their team, they even replaced their coach Jose Mourinho and now Guus Hiddink must try to change something and help Chelsea to achieve some positive results in this campaign. They must now go for a victory and i'm sure that players will give their best to achieve victory in their first match in 2016. Forward Radamel Falcao will stay out of action due to an injury while defender Gary Cahill and forward Loic Remy are in doubt for this match due to a minor injuries.

Crystal Palace achieved great results in this campaign, they improved their form in comparison to a previous season, they managed to defeat Chelsea in their first duel in this season in August on the road 1:2 and now are hoping that maybe can repeat that result, while Chelsea is in really terrible shape in this season, they seems totally out of the track and they must improve their form to reach at least position which leading them in Europe for the next campaign, I expect defensive football in this match and under 2.5 goals to be scored.
