Real Sociedad will host Valencia in 19th round of Spanish Primera. Real Sociedad is in rally bad form, they are at 15th position at the table with 17 points from 18 rounds. So far they celebrated only four times in league while in last five matches including Cup are without victory. Sociedad has only two points more than teams in relegation zone and they must improve their form in order to avoid dropping under the red line. They have difference 20:27 they didn't impressed with their attacking neither defensive skills. Real Sociedad is struggling to find their form from start of this campaign and they must start with some positive results in order to keep their Primera status. Previous season they ended at 12th position and now would be more than satisfied to repeat that result. They must try to end that winless series but it will be very hard against strong Valencia. Coach Eusebio can't count on midfielders David Zurutza (6/0), Esteban Granero, defender Raul Navas, attacking midfielder Sergio Canales, forward Imanol Agirretxe, all will miss this match due to injuries while appearance of defensive midfielder Asier Illarramendi (16/1) is in doubt due to a minor injury.
Valencia on the other hand is coming here after victory over Granada in Cup while before that divided points with Real Madrid in great match with plenty of chances and a lot of excitements. Valencia didn't impressed with their performances in this campaign, they have failed to reach knockout stage of Champions league and they will continue participating in Europa league on the spring, in Spanish Primera are at 10th position and they must try to improve their form and start achieving some results. They have a strong team but so far didn't managed to find consistency in their play. Valencia has negative record in duels against Real Sociedad, in last five duels against them they celebrated only in last match in previous season while before that got one draw and suffered three defeats. They are favorites here but it won't be easy to earn all three points against Sociedad. Goalkeeper Diego Alves, attacking midfielders Sofiane Feghouli (15/3) and Zakaria Bakkali (13/1) will stay out of action due to injuries while defenders Shkodran Mustafi (17/2) and Jose Gaya (17/0) have some problems with slight injuries and their appearances are questionable.
Real Sociedad must end their winless series and improve their shape in order to stay above relegation zone, while Valencia is struggling to find consistency in their game and now will for sure go for a victory, I expect open match with both sides to score.
