I see big gulf in quality here.
Bognor sit second bottom in National League South having won just 1 game since August. Last week they had decent chance to earn 3 points but played 2-2 draw vs rock bottom Whitehawk (1 win in 25 games and -43 goals difference). Head coach complaining about injuries and Killpartrick said: “The injury situation is unbelievable. Every week seems to bring a new problem and we could do without it.”
Defenders C. Field (22/0), C. Heath (8/1), J. Crane (8/0), K. Wood (4/1) are all out injured.
Although Orient are sixth from bottom in the National League, they have won four and drawn two of their eight games since former Gillingham boss Justin Edinburgh was appointed at the end of November. They strengthened their squad recently adding long-serving Cambridge defender Josh Coulson, proven striker at this level Dan Holman, Lamar Reynolds from Newport County and Norwich City midfielder Ebou Adams who played in League one Shrewsbury in first part of season. Orient boss Edinburgh has indicated he is taking the FA Trophy seriously and wants to win not only the Bognor tie but the competition itself. And having in mind home side’ss struggles and away side’s recent form and additions visitors are clear favourites here.
