West Brom are increasingly looking like they could be relegated with each passing game and each disappointing result. They now find themselves eight points away from safety with nine games to go. A prolonged run of five to six victories could get them away from the drop but it is hard to see how they can muster that up with the way they are playing at the moment. They have now lost each of their last six games in all competition and their last five in the league which is disappointing considering they have a squad which should be somewhere safe in the standings to boast of. They will be without the services of Nacer Chadli, James Morrison, Sturridge and Barry while Chris Brunt and Johnny Evans are both doubts. Salomon Rondon and jay Rodriguez should play upfront in a 4-4-2 formation.
Leicester are eight on the log with thirty seven points from 29 games. Not exactly groundbreaking but it keeps them well off the relegation struggles and in the top half of the table. They are not safe yet so should well on their feet and will not be complacent against this poor West Brom team. They needed a last gasp equalizer last weekend to get a point at home to Bournemouth, a goal which was scored by Riyad Mahrez. They must surely feel they can win here and will go all out in search of all three points today. Daniel Amartey is injured while Okazaki is a major doubt. They should play in their favoured 4-4-1-1 formation with Vardy and Mahrez as forward with a midfield four of Gray, Ndidi, Silva and Albrighton.
Both team have no need sitting on the defensive especially West Brom as a point does not suit them at all. They are in a win or bust situation and anything less than three point will feel like a defeat to them especially playing at home. This approach will suit Leicester well as they can counter at pace with Vardy, Mahrez and Gray who all can exploit spaces well. I believe we should see both team getting on the scoresheet while either team pushes for the winner. I would not be surprised by a 2-2 scoreline in this game.
