1-0 - Lost
Even though Nantes surprised with more offensive performance last weekend against St Etienne, the team still didn't manage to walk away with points, suffering a narrow 1:0 defeat. Only goal was scored in 18th minute via Tabanou, while the visiting side actually created fair amount of chances and held the ball to their feet more, but failed to convert any of it into goal.
After two consecutive defeats, previous one being against Caen at home 1:2, the team is now close to a relegation trouble, as they have only five points more than 18th placed Toulouse, six rounds till the end of the season. Positive fact is that there are many teams involved in a battle and it will be hard to see exactly Nantes going into further problems. However, they need points here in order to remove any doubts as soon as possible,
Marseille, on the other side, suffered yet another defeat last weekend losing to Bordeaux 1:0 and now seems to be completely out of shape - just when it was needed the most. The team is currently fourth, below the positions that lead to Champions League, while they have only a point more than fifth placed St Etienne and only three points more than sixth placed Bordeaux that currently stands with no Europa League ticket.
The team has been playing highly offensive football all season long and there is no reason for them to change anything now, especially not when they desperately need all three points. Open game with both teams searching for all three points is expected here and I believe that neither of the teams will have problems finding a net, at least once.
